Marcus Newborough

Marcus is Development Director of ITM Power. Previously he was Professor of Energy Systems at Cranfield and Heriot-Watt Universities in the UK. He has over 30 years experience in energy systems, energy utilisation and water electrolysis, and has published over 100 scientific papers and patents. In recent years he has been heavily involved in the development of the power-to-gas approach for energy storage and decarbonisation, in H2Mobility initiatives, as a member of IEA Task 38 on Power-to-Hydrogen and as Chair of the Technical Committees of Hydrogen Europe.
