Mirko Rubeis

Mirko Rubeis is a Managing Director and Partner in the Dubai Office of Boston Consulting Group, the global management consulting firm and the world’s leading strategy advisor.

Mirko leads the Downstream (refining, chemicals) topic in the Middle East

During his tenure at BCG, he advised Oil Companies, Chemical Companies and Investment companies across Europe, Middle East and Africa on business strategy and corporate development, operational excellence and organizational effectiveness.

In the Middle-East, he has led the development of the Downstream Long Term Strategy for three of the major National Oil Companies in the region, digital transformations and operational improvement programs in refining and chemical plants (steam cracker and polymer units), and supported the acquisition and divestment of overseas assets.

Mirko is often featured on specialized press, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and events.

Prior to BCG, Mirko worked in Europe in the downstream business of an oil company.

He holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of RomaTre (Rome, Italy), a MBA from SDA Bocconi (Milan, Italy), and is also an Alumnus of SEM Tsinghua (Beijing, PRC).

Mirko is originally from Rome, Italy, and lives in Dubai with his wife and their two daughters
