How we're making ERTC Safe
Our commitment to keeping our delegates, exhibitors & staff safe
We’re making changes to ERTC this year to ensure you can still access the same insights and connections our network is used to while reducing the risk associated with the presence of COVID-19.
ERTC will operate under the industry’s All Secure Standard – a comprehensive set of actions to keep you safe at our events. We want you to feel confident about your visit and know that we are doing everything we can to ensure we protect our staff, exhibitors and delegates. Health and Safety is our number one priority and the measures we’re taking align with government advice and follow the event industry best practice as set out in the All Secure Standard.
We’ll be making public all our plans for making ERTC safe as we confirm them so please look out for updates on this page over the coming months.
Before you arrive
Please make sure you have booked online and received your confirmation email before attending ERTC. To reduce queuing and physical interaction at the event, we will not be taking new registrations onsite. If you haven’t already done so, you can book online here.
Face mask / covering
We strongly recommend that you bring and wear a face mask / cover to ERTC.
We will stay in regular contact with those registered to attend ERTC to let them know about any updates to these measures.
We kindly request that you refrain from visiting ERTC should you start displaying any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19. Paid tickets can be transferred to a colleague. For support, please contact us.
Do not leave home if you or someone you live with has any of the following symptoms:
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
- a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste
Working with our Venue
We are working closely with the Hotel Melia Castilla to ensure every necessary measure is taken to keep you safe.
We will provide new information signage informing all visitors of the key safety messages and instructions.
To allow our visitors and exhibitors to keep to physical distancing guidance, we are limiting the number of people to parts of the event at any one time.
Social Distancing at ERTC
All conference theatres will be rearranged to follow physical distancing guidelines. Q&A sessions will be run via slido or the event networking platform rather than pass around a hand-held microphone.
We are updating the layout of our exhibition and conference theatres and introducing one-way visitor traffic to give visitors the space required to keep to physical distancing guidance. The floors will be clearly marked to communicate the correct traffic flow.
In accordance with physical distancing guidelines, we ask all delegates and exhibitors to refrain from shaking hands and to opt for alternative methods of greeting.
Cleaning & Hygiene
All high volume touchpoints such as door handles, push plates, handrails and lift call points will be sanitised on a regular basis. You may find that your nearest toilet is locked now and again, this is just so the venue can carry out deep cleaning throughout the day.
Stand Cleaning & Safety
Exhibitors will be required to disinfect their stands throughout the event.
Hand sanitiser stations will be positioned at key locations throughout the event, including toilets, catering points, conference rooms, with regular use encouraged to all visitors and exhibitors.
