Holds a postgraduate degree in New Technologies, Digital Transformation and Agility from FIA Business School, an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and an Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree from the Federal University of Bahia.

With over 18 years of professional experience in the oil refining and petrochemical industries, began a career developing and managing industrial automation projects, progressively expanding expertise to encompass digital transformation strategies and operational investments. Since November 2021, leads the digital transformation program at Acelen’s Mataripe Refinery, Brazil’s second-largest refinery. This leadership has been pivotal in modernizing automation systems, optimizing operational performance, enhancing safety standards, and delivering cumulative economic benefits exceeding USD 30 million in the past three years, alongside significant reductions in carbon emissions.

Prior to Acelen, held key automation management positions at Braskem, responsible for industrial automation across multiple plants in Brazil. This work consistently added substantial business value by implementing advanced process optimization and Industry 4.0 technologies. Also possesses experience in project management and business development, including international exposure and large-scale capital investment portfolio oversight.
