WRA Press Release
As the World Refining Association (WRA) celebrates its 30th anniversary, the organisation is delighted to announce the return of the Asian Refining Technology Conference (ARTC) to its core global events portfolio, where it will be managed and coordinated by the WRA’s headquarters in London.

ARTC has been run out of Clarion Events’ Asia office in recent years. It now returns to Clarion Events Ltd.’s core global portfolio under WRA, aligning it with WRA’s flagship events and bringing its management back in-house alongside the Association’s other global conferences. ARTC is co-located with the Asia Downstream Summit and Asia Carbon Capture and Ammonia conference, together forming a single flagship event for the region.

The move comes as WRA continues to strengthen its international presence across the downstream industry. Over the past year, the Association has expanded its global footprint through the continued growth of its Ask the Experts technical conference series in Latin America and Europe.

With the addition of ARTC, WRA’s global portfolio now spans ERTC, LARTC, NARTC and ARTC – reinforcing the Association’s commitment to serving the downstream industry across every major global refining hub. ARTC 2026 will take place on 28–29 October at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore. Organisations and individuals already confirmed to sponsor, speak at or attend this year’s event will see no changes to its planned delivery. A member of the WRA team will be in touch shortly to discuss next steps.
