Alba Soler Estrella

Alba Soler is currently the Science Executive for Refining Transition in Concawe, the Scientific body of the European Petroleum Refiners Association in Europe. Her main role is to identify opportunities and challenges for the refineries in Europe, to technically inform the discussions on their evolving role from today towards 2050, in view of the ambitious long-term Green Deal package.

Alba previously worked for 3 years in Concawe as Science Associate for the Low Carbon Pathways Program and has over 14 years of experience in refining sector. She worked previously in Repsol, as a Technology Development & Planning Senior Engineer for 6 years, and as a Process Engineer for 4 years. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master in Refining, Petrochemical and Gas.
