Alex Morison

Alex Morison is the Business Development and Strategic Accounts Manager in Svante’s Solutions and Digital Services division. His role focuses primarily on opportunities in Europe and includes commercial outreach, project origination, project development and strategic partnerships. Before Svante, Alex worked with technologies across the resource industries that looked at finding new markets for innovative technologies and growing cleantech companies. Alex’s prior roles include Trade Commissioner for Mining, Oil and Gas at Global Affairs Canada, and Founder/Owner of Northern Lighthouse Consulting, focused on business development and technology de-risking in the energy sector. Alex has also worked extensively in stakeholder relationship management, drafting impact assessment and economic development frameworks in consultation with mining industry proponents.
