Aline Bueno Cury

Aline Bueno holds the position of Senior Technical Hydroprocessing Catalysts Specialist, based in the Houston office.

She holds a Master’s degree in Catalysis and Industrial Processes from the Ecole Centrale de Lille and the French Petroleum Institute (IFP), and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil. With over 17 years of expertise in hydroprocessing, encompassing refining, research and technical services, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.

Aline provides technical support for hydroprocessing catalysts (HPC) to refinery clients in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. She combines her experience in conventional fuels with deep knowledge in renewables and unconventional feeds hydroprocessing, which she has developed while supporting Ketjen’s new business applications. Her duties include start-up support, unit monitoring and troubleshooting, pilot plant testing analysis, and creating optimized catalyst system designs. She also conducts courses and presents at conferences, committed to sharing her expertise and the company’s technical solutions with customers, promoting excellence in the field.
