
Carolyn Ryeczek
Americas Lower Emission Fuels Business Development Manager, ExxonMobil
Carolyn graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering. She joined ExxonMobil in 2001 at the Beaumont Refinery. While there she progressed through roles including Capital Projects Supervisor and Process Second Line Supervisor. Upon moving to Fairfax, VA, she became Americas Refining Business Analysis and Reporting Advisor. While in Fairfax she was also a Crude and Feedstocks Optimizer.
Carolyn became the Technical Department Head for the Joliet Refinery in 2014. Following this she served as the Central Maintenance Department Head, Specialties Process Department Head, and Specialties Turnaround Integrated Event Manager at the Baytown Refinery. In 2020, she became the Refinery Technical Manager for the Beaumont Refinery.
In 2022, Carolyn moved to the Spring Campus to lead the Corporate Lower-emission Fuels Strategy. She is currently the Business Development Manager for Americas with a focus on lower-emission fuels while supporting base refinery and retail business development.
Carolyn resides in the Houston area. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
