Dallas Scholes

Dallas Scholes currently serves as Director of Government and Public Affairs for Par Pacific Holdings, Inc., a growing energy company headquartered in Houston, Texas, that owns and operates market-leading energy, infrastructure and retail businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest, the Rockies and Hawaii. Par is focused on providing conventional and renewable energy for local communities in its areas of operation and is known in those communities by the local names of Par Hawaii, U.S Oil, Wyoming Refining Company, Par Montana, Hele and nomnom.

A native of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, Dallas is a graduate of Brigham Young University and The George Washington University Law School. Prior to working with Par, Dallas spent ten years in Washington, DC, working for different Members of Congress where he specialized in western Energy, Natural Resources and Federal Land policies. As a legislative attorney and government affairs professional Dallas has represented the US coal industry, and the oil and gas industry covering interstate natural gas pipelines, midstream, exploration and production, and now, oil refining interests before all levels of government.

Dallas and his wife, Holly, are the parents of five children and have six grandkids. They currently reside in Kingwood, Texas.
