Derek Becht

Derek Becht is the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of Entara, a leading global asset manager for refining infrastructure. In his role, Derek has guided Entara through the landmark acquisition of the Fos-sur-Mer Refinery from ExxonMobil by Rhône Energies – a joint venture between Entara and Trafigura. Entara has further played a key role in the successful commissioning and start-up of the Bakersfield Renewable Diesel complex in December 2024. Derek previously worked at Valero Energy and Becht, a global engineering consulting firm.
