Head of Innovation, YPF

Dorlysu Moreno is the Head of Innovation at YPF. In addition to her role at YPF, she teaches new business development at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT) and collaborates with MIT in technological innovation.

In her current role at YPF, Dorlysu leads the transformation of the business, driving Innovation, Sustainability, Datalization, Optimization, Efficiencies and Productivity projects. Her focus includes future work methodologies and generative artificial intelligence. She is responsible for creating, applying and deploying innovation, spanning from culture and strategy to business case and implementation.

One of the most outstanding initiatives she has worked on is the YAlgae project, known as “the liquid tree” at the EESS in Alcorta. This innovative air purification device uses biotechnology to capture CO2 and other pollutants, surpassing the capacity of traditional trees. In addition, the biomass of the microalgae is used to fertilize green spaces in the same facilities.

It has also developed strategic relationships with suppliers, startups and the scientific ecosystem (R&D). She actively participates in innovation programs and has been part of initiatives such as the Innovation program in Israel, NASA, ETC, etc. Academic merits.
