Gabriel Szabó

Vice Chairman of Slovnaft Board of Directors; Member of INA Supervisory Board; Member of the Board of Slovak Chamber of Commerce; Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Slovak Battery Alliance

Mr Gabriel Szabó graduated from the Faculty of Economy & Business in Košice at the Bratislava University of Economics in 1999. In 2021, he earned a PhD from the Technical University of Košice. He joined SLOVNAFT, a.s. in 2001, working as an economist in Resource Allocation. In 2002, he became the Director – Finance & Accounting at Slovnaft’s Subsidiary SLOVNAFT MONTÁŽE A OPRAVY, a.s. In 2006, he became Slovnaft’s Corporate Services Manager. In 2009, Gabriel Szabó worked for INA in Croatia as Director of Procurement Services and since January 2010 he was Vice President of MOL Group’s Corporate Services in Budapest. Since July 2012, he has been the Vice President of Downstream at SLOVNAFT a.s. Between 1 December 2016 and 15 July 2020, Mr. Szabó was appointed Chief Executive Officer of SLOVNAFT, a.s. During this period, as of 1st February 2019, he also held the position of Group Logistics Senior Vice President.
