Jan Zander

Jan graduated in Energy Engineering at the Delft Technical University and joined Shell in 1986. He was in various Utilities and Energy jobs within Shell until the end of 2016. Between 2008 and 2012, Jan lead the energy improvement initiative at Shell Pernis refinery after which the refinery became a first quartile site. Since leaving Shell, Jan has done various consultancy jobs for Refineries and LNG plants, and for Start-ups. For a patent on an Energy Conservation design improvement for a Chemical PET recycling, Jan was co-inventor.
