Jay Stang

Jay Stang has served as the president of SH Controls since its founding in 2019. His career spans almost 20 years of process analyzer experience, starting as a field service technician in 2005. Prior to joining the oil and gas industry, he served as an electrician and microwave communications technician and platoon sergeant in the US Marines, deploying around the world to support combat and relief operations in Kuwait, Iraq, and Thailand.

While a sales director at JP3, he contributed to the development of GPA 2119 for midstream custody transfer. He also worked extensively with Phillips 66 and JP3 Measurement to pioneer new ways to enhance refined fuels pipeline quality and reduce transmix.
