Jessica Hoffmann

Jessica Hofmann has 14+ years of experience in renewable energy technology pathways and biomass conversion process pathways. She has worked for several years at the Department of Energy Technology at one of the most reputed universities in sustainable technology development space within Europe – Aalborg University. Her core expertise and a major focus at Aalborg University was on the biomass to bio-liquids/ bio-crudes conversion pathways, majorly through thermochemical approaches. Further to the biomass to bio-crude / bio-liquid intermediate conversions, she has extensively worked on refining of these molecules into fungible bio-based fuels with superior carbon metrics.

During the last 6 years, Jessica deepened her expertise in life cycle analysis and GHG emission-saving calculations for renewable refinery processes and supply chains. Jessica is deeply engaged and fully familiar with recent policies, standards and legislation for renewable fuels and Bio-chemical pathways.
