Luis Grau

Luis Grau is a Technology Lead and Senior Process Engineer at Shell Projects & Technology. Luis specializes in Steam Cracking and Waste Plastic upgrading. He joined Shell in 2009, after working for three of the main ethylene technology licensors. Luis has lead the design of mega projects in petrochemicals and has a special interest in the research and development of technologies to process waste plastic.

Luis has also lead the research, design and startup of the first Shell Recovered Plastics Upgrader and he is currently working on further developing and deploying this technology.

Luis is a Mechanical Engineer and has a Master degree in Petrochemicals from the Institut Francais du Petrole.
