Marco Respini

Dr. Marco Respini is Senior Engineer at Baker Hughes Downstream with a background as specialist in crude oil chemistry, process modeling and asphaltenes. He is currently working on technology developments in the areas of refining, petrochemical and production of fuels from renewable sources, with focus on fouling phenomena and process optimizations, with more than 20 years of experience.

He is author of 19 journal and conference papers and is an inventor of 9 patents in the area of fouling control.

Marco was previously a Research Fellow at Milan University in the field of Organometallic Catalysis and is currently a member of the American Chemical Society.
