Modesto Fernandez Gonzalo

Modesto is a Chemical Engineer from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. He has been devoted to the refining and petrochemical industry for 35 years in departments ranging from Plant operations,  Planning and  Process and Project engineering.

Modesto was project director of the successful 3,1 billion € expansion Project for Repsol Cartagena refinery and has been a member of the Repsol Downstream Executive committee.

Now Modesto acts as senior Consultant at IDOM since Jan 2020 working with the Innovation team in designing the Refinery of the Future.
