Omar Bedani

Employed since November 2004, Omar joined Foster Wheeler Italiana – Fired Heaters Division as Process Engineer of Fired Heaters and Waste Heat Recovery Units. In his role, Omar worked with the thermodynamic and fluidynamic design team during proposals and projects.

Appointed Project Manager for Fired Heaters Division on July 2011, Omar acted as Project Manager for several projects for the supply of fired heaters with relevant auxiliaries and steam generation system execution phase.

On 2013, Omar was appointed Hydrogen Team Leader for Foster Wheeler Italiana. His role was to enhance Company visibility in the Hydrogen market, maximise company business using opportunities and coordinate the required activities between company departments.

In 2015 and within Amec Foster Wheeler, Omar was appointed Global Hydrogen Technology Business Development Manager, reporting in this role to Wood, Senior Vice President Process Technology.
Omar was temporarily assigned to Abu Dhabi office from 2017 to 2019 with the aim of improving the market penetration of the organization in the area of hydrogen technology and fired heaters products.

After the experience in the Middle East, Omar has been reintegrated into the team in Milano, Italy, covering the role of Manager of Commercial Operations for Technology and Products.
