Rashid Iqbal

Rashid Iqbal is a Technical Specialist Refining, in the Bechtel study group. He has over 40 years experience in oil refining and related industries. His experience spans plant operations and troubleshooting, process and economic studies, and development of configurations for major revamps and grassroots projects. He has led development of projects for refining and upgrading of heavy and extra heavy oils. Rashid’s work in technology development has earned him several patents and he has authored more than ten papers. He holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey.
