Sebastian Focaccio

Sebastian Focaccio is a Chemical Engineer with a Postgraduate degree in Energy Engineering from Universidad de la República, Uruguay. Sebastian started his professional career at Unilever Uruguay before moving to the Uruguayan National Oil Company (ANCAP) with a Process Engineer role in FCC & downstream units in 2011. Following 8 years of experience in refining including several TAs, revamps and leading the FCC Gasoline selective hydrotreating commissioning and start-up, Sebastian joined Albemarle with a Technical Service Engineer role based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As a side experience, Sebastian was granted Academic tenure for the Chemical Engineering program at Universidad de la República, Uruguay between 2016 and 2019.
