Stephen Sims

Stephen’s career has been with major international oil companies in technical, operations, strategy and business development. He retired from ConocoPhillips in 2009 where in his last assignment, he led the formation of an $8 billion refining JV. He is also an independent energy consultant including several projects for the World Bank. He continues his role as a volunteer Energy Mentor at the Houston Technology Center helping startup companies that are targeting the energy industry for commercialization.
