Thorsten has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Darmstadt, Germany. He has 29 years of experiences in the engineering and construction management of projects in refineries and the petrochemicals industry.

As part of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG, Germany, he is globally responsible for the execution of Petrochemical & Polymer projects within thyssenkrupp Uhde. He is also the Managing Director of Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (Czech Republic), Brno, CZ.
