Tim Obitts

Tim Obitts is the Chief Executive Officer at Alder Renewables, bringing nearly three decades of legal and executive experience to the role. Prior to joining Alder Renewables, Tim served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA), a trade association of more than 3,700 companies. NATA represents aviation businesses from across the entire sector, including aviation fuel suppliers, ground handlers, FBOs, on-demand air charter, fractional air carriers, and MROs.  

Before his time at NATA, Tim was the managing shareholder of the law firm Gammon & Grange, P.C., where he served as counsel for numerous for-profit and nonprofit firms and led advocacy efforts with Congress and federal agencies on behalf of his clients. Raised in Santa Barbara, California, Tim received a B.A., double major in History and Philosophy, from Gordon College. He earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from California Western School of Law.
